Shopping Behaving Recording

We use Hotjar to understand our users’ needs better and optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.), and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on users’ behaviour and devices. This includes a device's IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any data collected on our behalf.

Chat Service 

This website uses Tidio, a chat platform that connects users with the customer support of Auric Jewellery. We are collecting email addresses/names only with the consent of the users to start the chat. The messages and data exchanged are stored within the Tidio application. For more information, please refer to their Privacy Policy.
Auric Jewellery is not using these messages or data other than to follow up on users’ registered issues or inquiries. Your personal data will be processed and transmitted in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The IP is only saved if the visitor starts a chat with Auric Jewellery.

 

Data Retention

  • Unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by the law, we only hold your Data on our systems for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose outlined in this privacy policy or until you request the Data to be deleted. We will retain your data for seven years, which meets our regulatory requirements.
  • As outlined in the ‘Legal Rights’ section, deletion can only occur if we do not need to meet the regulatory purposes.
